Muscat and Salalah, Oman, are relatively new fisheries and already producing staggering numbers of big Yellowfin being hooked and caught on topwater. Get a taste of the Middle East and enjoy the safe and tranquil surroundings of the Jebal Sifa resort/marina in Muscat and the Hawana resort/marina in Salalah on the Omani Coast. If topwater fishing is your buzz and you want to see big Yellowfin surface feeding – then this adventure is one not to miss!

Species targeted:

•  Yellowfin Tuna (35-100kg size). Salalah trip, possibility of Billfish (trolling). 

Fishing Methods:

•   Topwater Casting and Jigging.

Included in the package:

• Flyn from Offshore Adventures will personally guide/host your International Offshore Fishing Adventure.
• Transfers to and from the airport to your accommodation at the marina resorts in Muscat and Salalah.
• 5 days of fishing (1 lay day) including boat, skipper, fuel, and taxes.
• Twin share accommodation for 7 nights.

Tackle required:

• Heavy top-water (PE 8-10) rods that will cast 80-160gm stickbaits and poppers.
• Reels such as the Shimano Stella 14000-18000 spooled with 80-100lb braid.
• Selection of stickbaits, poppers, jigs, and hooks (Flyn can advise on the best lures).
• Spare leaders (140lb-180lb).
• Light inshore casting rod (PE 1.5-3) and jig rod (PE 5-8) for 200-250gm jigs.
